Danube - Year Three
This half term, we are going to be extending our knowledge of the rainforest by learning about the people who have lived there many thousands of years ago. We will discover all about Maya life, clothes, houses, culture and buildings. Much of this learning we will use within our writing to develop our vocabulary, sentence structure and stamina.
We have already completed our Mindmate sessions on Friends and Family and furthered our understanding of 'fair' and 'unfair', 'kind' and unkind'. We are beginning to realise that sometimes things are not as simple as that! We are also recognising that everyone is unkind at times. We will be following this with our PSHE topic Keeping Safe.
Please keep up reading regularly with your child and returning their book bags so we can change books and move them up levels, when they need to.
