GOVERNANCE ARRANGEMENTS

OUR GOVERNORS

COMMITTEES

MEETINGS / MINUTES

The purpose of a school visit is to provide Governors with a broader understanding of the context for their work and to help inform their strategic decisions. Visits help provide an understanding of the way in which the school operates to embed its ethos and achieve its aims.

These visits provide an opportunity to develop a good awareness and understanding to help them in their strategic role and to enable them to support the school through informed decision making.

After each visit governors write up a visit report which is shared with the Headteacher and with all governors during Governing Body meetings thus ensuring that all governors gain deeper insight into the work of the school.
