Skipping Competiton

Skipping coach Jodie came to school to start teaching the children in Year 2 how to skip. The children will be taking part in a schools skipping competition in February next year. We soon discovered there is a lot more to skipping then you first think. We have been learning how to turn the rope and how to jump. Before long we were skipping on one leg and skipping in pairs. Over the next months we will be putting in some practice. Jodie will return soon to see how we are getting on.
