What an amazing start to Book Week!

This week is Book Week. We started off with an Assembly where we discussed our favourite books and talked about why reading is important. Then, Mississippi class read traditional tales and books linked to topics to Foundation and KS1. They read with excellent expression and asked some fantastic questions. KS2 visited a local author called Tom Palmer. He told us all about his life, why he became an author and the importance of reading. Also, at lunchtime, we have been playing some Quidditch (a Harry Potter themed game). What fun!
