World Book Day - Third Time Lucky!

We all finally enjoyed a fabulous World Book Day after snow forced us to cancel our plans twice! Children looked fabulous dressed up as characters from their favourite books or wearing t-shirts with quotes on. Parents joined us for a whole school assembly where children successfully guessed the staff's book quotations and then joined in our 'Share-a-Story' session. All staff read a story (old favourites and new ones!) and children and parents could choose which to listen to. Everyone had a great time and went home motivated to read old and new books!
