White Laith Primary School is situated within Whinmoor in Leeds. Children and adults work together in an atmosphere of trust, respect and belonging. Mississippi class thoroughly enjoyed their Viking Day today where they: dressed up as Vikings, battled, listened to a Viking story, travelled on a longship chanting a Viking kenning (poem) as we rowed, made Viking brooches and made/tasted mead (a Viking drink). It was great fun and we found out lots more information about the Vikings.
