The Magic Flute

For some of us this was our first visit to Leeds Grand Theatre and we all really enjoyed the experience. We had already read a synopsis of the story, watched an animation, found out about the different instruments in the orchestra and talked about the different operatic voices we would hear. We were especially looking forward to hearing the high soprano voice of the Queen of the night - she did not disappoint!
We were also really impressed by the decor in the theatre - the chandelier was enormous!
