Whitby 2019!
Poppy Brown
Mississippi class enjoyed their end of year trip to Whitby this week. We did lots of exciting things: went in the arcades, paddled, built sandcastles, buried each other in the sand, ate sticks of rock, went in the Dracula Experience, ate ice-cream whilst walking along the pier, went to the abbey, walked the 199 steps, walked up to the whalebone arch to see the Captain Cook statue and went in the shops. What a busy day it was! To top it off, our behaviour, as always, was exemplary and lots of members of the public commented on how fantastic we were. All of the teachers felt extremely proud.
This is what some of Mississippi class thought of the trip:
“It was so fun and I would recommend Whitby to anyone. It’s not like Scarborough, Bridlington or Filey- it’s something different.”
“It was beautiful and picturesque and one of the most exciting places I have visited.”
