Our Vegetable Box came 6th in the competition!

We had a wonderful day at the Great Yorkshire Show and were thrilled to see so many members of the public admiring our vegetable box. We were thrilled to be awarded 6th place - not bad for a first attempt!

We also: held chicks, made rag-rug clowns, were amazed at the size of some stick insects, tasted cheese, watched a bee display and tasted honey, watched the cattle parade, saw amazing stunt motor cyclists, made a dry-stone wall, observed horse, cattle and sheep at close-hand, found out all about how to survive in a Royal Navy emergency inflatable, watch a vulture in flight and ended the day watching a parachute display!

We all agreed that we had thoroughly enjoyed our day and also discovered that Oscar is not scared of bees anymore, Cadie likes smelly blue cheese and Kamil LOVES honey!
