Broad Bean Hummus!

Today we harvested, cooked and tasted some of our vegetables.
Today we used our home-grown vegetables to create some tasty dishes for the whole school to try!
We made broad bean hummus, spinach and pea soup and potato salad. The kitchen staff also roasted our courgettes and steamed our beetroot. Mrs Sheerin had also made some jam using our raspberries and we spread that on bread for everyone to try.
We used our snipping,spreading, grating and juicing skills and were impressed with the results.
Some of us liked the hummus - especially when we dipped our carrots in it - others didn’t like it at all!
We also decided that whilst the soup didn’t look very tasty it was actually delicious! Thank you to everyone who tasted our dishes and gave such positive and constructive feedback.
