Climbing Ingleborough
Michael Sheerin
Today Mississippi (Year 6) conquered Ingleborough. It took three and a half hours to walk the 6 km to the top of the mountain. At 723m above sea level, it is the highest many of the children have climbed. We had glorious sunshine and blue skies all the way and as we stood admiring the amazing view at the top, clouds streamed between us. This time we really did make it when we set out to reach for the sky.
