Leeds City Youth Prom

We had a wonderful time at the Leeds Youth Music Prom - the music was excellent!

We really enjoyed listening to the different orchestras and dancing to ‘Sir Duke’ and ‘Happy’ - played by Lyjro. After listening to only the first note, we were able to identify the theme tune to Star Wars: The Force Awakens and we quickly recognised the music from the Lion King. We were intrigued by the steel pans - what an amazing sound - and the thundering drums of the large timpani.

We all agree that we loved it. Music really does cheer you up!
