Year 6 Computing - CodeBug
Michael Sheerin
We are using our coding skills to program a CodeBug.
CodeBug is a wearable programmable digital device designed to introduce electronic concepts. CodeBug can display graphics and text, has touch sensitive inputs and you can power it with a watch battery. To program CodeBug you use the blockly-based online programming interface at codebug.org.uk . There is an in-browser emulator to test your program before you download it in to your CodeBug. Today we programmed CodeBugs to display scrolling text messages. In the coming weeks we will be challenged to program CodeBugs to display digital faces, animation and perform like a digital die for a board game. To see more picture visit the Computing Gallery.
