In our topic we are trying to answer the question ‘What is it like to live in India?’. Today, Hannah from Leeds DEC came to visit us to tell us more. We learnt lots about what India is really like and we were surprised that it was not like we thought! We found out about some children who live in India and are very similar to us, we had the same hobbies, favourite lessons and favourite foods. One of the things that surprised us was that the world’s most active expensive house is in Mumbai. The house has 3 floors of gardens, it’s own ballroom and even it’s own health spa. We also found out that India is 12 times the size of the UK and has a population of over 1 billion! It has been a fantastic afternoon and we have learnt lots.
