WE DID IT!
Poppy Brown
This week, Year 6 have taken their SATS tests. Every morning, we have started the day with a delicious and nutritious breakfast. In previous years, the children have had toast and cereal to enjoy. However, this year, Mississippi class felt they deserved more! They wrote a persuasive letter to Mrs Sheerin asking her for a wider range of food such as: croissants, pain au chocolat, pancakes, chocolate cereal, a fruit platter and sausage sandwiches! Mrs Sheerin then read the letters and decided that we did indeed deserve more! Each day we had something different: fruit platters, delicious pastries, toast (with homemade jam), pancakes with chocolate spread, a variety of cereals, malt loaf, milkshakes and fruit juices- a real banquet! After breakfast each morning, the children did their tests. They persevered and worked hard the whole way through! Well done Year 6!
