Year 2 Science - Life in a pond

We are learning about the animals and plants that live in a garden pond. Mr Sheerin brought some common frogs, gold fish and plants to put in our new garden pond. All sorts of creatures live in ponds and around them. Some stay on the surface and some swim in the water. Frogs can be seen jumping around, in and out of the pond. We hope that we will soon have Pond skaters, Pond snails, Whirligig beetles, Water measures and Water scorpions living in our pond.
