Year 1 Jam Tarts!

Today Year 1 have been busy making jam tarts! We decided that we wanted to practice the baking skill of rolling just as Scott of the Antarctic did in his hut at the South Pole. To make our jam tarts we used, short crust pastry, raspberry jam, a rolling pin, a teaspoon, a circular cutter and a bun tray. Before we tasted our tarts we used our other senses to describe what they looked liked, felt like, sounded like and smelled like. We all agreed they tasted delicious!
