Not only have they learnt how to animate a model using Zu3d but they have also written and recorded a description of the action, made a background collage, added sound effects, and composed the music. It has been a challenging and exciting project!

Today in Amazon, we have been cooking using our freshly picked spinach from our ‘Victory Garden’.
Read MoreFoundation practised their grating and mixing skills whilst making their own veggie filo parcels. It was tricky to hold the carrots and courgettes with our fingers rather than in a fist grip when grating them. After that we mixed the grated veg with root mash, cream cheese and grated cheese and spooned the mixture into our filo pastry. We cooked them in the oven until they browned. They smelled delicious!

Read MoreIn Danube we have been learning some cooking skills. We can now safely chop fruit and vegetables using the ‘claw grip’ and use peel them with a peeler. We enjoyed making and eating our fruit salads.
Last week Year 1 went on a trip to the Great Yorkshire Show Ground in Harrogate to celebrate National Apple Day! We had a fantastic day and found out lots about apples! In our first workshop we used cooking skills such as, coring and mixing to make our own apple crumbles. During the second workshop we explored the orchard and tasted lots of different apples including, ‘Dog Snout’ and ‘Red Devil’ - yum! Lastly, we made our very own White Laith apple juice using an apple smasher and an apple press - it was hard work but we all enjoyed it!
