Read MoreIn Reception we have learnt and heard a story about Sita and Rama for Diwali. Some of the activities we did are: paint a picture of the ten headed demon, observational drawing of a Diva lamp and made Diwali cards.
We also learnt about advent and the Christmas story. Using pastels we created the advent wreath. After reading the Christmas story we answered some key questions.
Year 1 made icy sculptures to link with their Antarctica topic. Look how beautiful their ice spheres look!

Read MoreThe children have worked extremely hard to create an animation of the famous Iron Man from the story by Ted Hughes.
Not only have they learnt how to animate a model using Zu3d but they have also written and recorded a description of the action, made a background collage, added sound effects, and composed the music. It has been a challenging and exciting project!
