Year 5 Girls' Dodgeball

We went to Rothwell Scout Hut where we took part in the ACE dodgeball gala. We were fantastic and played well as a team. Well done Year 5.

Active 30:30

Are you active for 30 minutes at school? Are you active for 30 minutes at home?

Here we are getting our active 30 minutes in the playground. Our playground is set up with agility, balance and co-ordination challenges for us to try.

Star Wars Dodgeball

We have been trying out some new exciting versions of dodgeball in dodgeball club. Some year 5 girls will take part in a competition in November. Dodgeball will be open to year 3 and 4 after Christmas and some year 4's will take part in a competition in March. Playing dodgeball is a great way to get your 30 active minutes outside of school time.

The aim of Star Wars dodgeball is to hit the Jedi with the ball, but the Jedi is protected by the force (the hoop) which makes it a trickier game. 

Year 3- Frobscottle

To celebrate Roald Dahl's Birthhday, on Wednesday, we made Frobscottle! We carefully measured out and chopped the ingredients. It was delumptious! We thought of exciting adjectives and recorded the recipe. Why don't you try making it at home?
